Marketing Audits
A marketing audit is a 2- to 6-page document that gives you a helpful snapshot of your marketing work – from the outside as a casual observer and from a deep understanding of your digital marketing analytics. Marketing audits summarize your strengths, witnesses, and future opportunities, and give you a roadmap for what to work on in the next quarter and suggestions for the coming year.
I can review everything you’re doing (a Big Picture audit) or one of your key marketing channels.
Big Picture Audit
Get feedback on everything you’re doing, including your logo/branding, website, email marketing, social media channels, press releases, and key print materials and advertisements. I’ll look at any analytics your marketing tools collect and offer feedback on what you’re doing well and what could be improved or optimized.
After a Big Picture audit, you’ll have a better sense of what your organization’s marketing could do with some modifications, and where you should focus more staff time and energy to get the best results. You’ll also know how to determine whether your work is paying off and how to build on early successes.

Single Channel Audit
Zero in on one or two of your key channels – say, email and social media. I’ll provide feedback on just those channels, using analytics and any other data you can provide. Package rates are available for multiple channels.
After a Single Channel audit, you’ll understand what your organization is doing well and what could be done differently for a particular channel. You’ll have a better sense of the tools, strategies and staff members needed to get the most out of that channel, and you’ll be able to collect and analyze your marketing analytics to see how well you’re doing. You’ll also have ideas for “above and beyond” things you can try on that channel in the next year.
Single Channel Audits pair well with training on that particular channel.

Marketing Plans
Your organization doesn’t need a complex, 50-page marketing plan. But you should have a basic document that states your organization’s marketing goals, which channels you’ll use, and how you’ll know if you were successful. Work with me to write a marketing plan that’s short and clear enough to be handed to staff members or board members, giving them a complete overview of your marketing efforts.
In addition to creating your organization’s marketing plan, you’ll also determine who should have a role in carrying out the plan, how often you should review and update your plan, and what to do if your goals change.
A marketing plan can be combined with other services, especially a Big Picture Audit.
